glade depends on libgnomeui, which depends on libbonoboui, which depends on
libgnomecanvas, which depends on libglade, which depends on gtk+.

You've probably got a dirty or "cleaned out" build tree (ie. not done with
'make clean') and a new install root or something.

(Note that GARNOME is spelt GARNOME.)
