Lin,
  Good to see the FEN port coming along. A quick note -

The LDFLAGS here only needs to be changed when using the Solaris native 
'ld'. Thus it needs a 'if SOLARIS' condition around it, otherwise it 
will break a Linux build. This one is probably my fault originally :( I 
will test it when I get sxce b74 installed on my machine.
