[gamin] Uninstalling Gamin

Installation

I executed an install of Gamin 0.1.1 from source on a Fedora Core 3 x86 box.  I started with gamin-0.1.1.tar.gz.  Decompressed in /usr/local/src.  Executed ‘make install’ from /usr/local/src/gamin-0.1.1.  It installed O.K.  Left all options to default values.

Uninstallation

I attempted to uninstall by executing a ‘make distclean’.  However, that simply removed files from /usr/local/src/gamin-0.1.1.  There are still lots of files around under the following directories:

¨       usr/local/lib

¨       /usr/local/include

¨       usr/local/libexec

Do these directories account for all the installed files?

If I remove these, will I have cleaned up the Gamin installation?

I want to effect a complete clean up, as I wish to install Gamin version 0.1.2 from the source rpm, gamin-0.1.2-1.FC3.src.rpm.
