Thanks for proposing this with Kat! ☺ Depending on the dates I may want to join, as starting from the 9 of December I won't be available anymore.

As I would like to publish a GNOME-friendly gamepad library around that time, my focus would be on adding gamepad support in the existing and future games. ☺

At GUADEC, I proposed the idea of a games hackfest.

With the help of Kat and our good friend Geoff, we've started the process of securing a space at the University of East Anglia, United Kingdom. We haven't yet formalised a date, but we're hoping for it to be somewhere between November and December.

With this email I'm hoping to gauge interest in the event and figure out what people may want to work on.
