Oops, my bad for not noticing.

Would you like me to cherry-pick the commits to gnome-3-0 and update
NEWS, just the former, the latter or neither?

I was careful to resist the urge to do needless re-factoring, so to
the best of my knowledge, there is minimal/no translator impact (no
new strings, minimal movement of existing translated strings)
