Re: Compile Gnometris

Hi!

Thank you for your quick answer!  Now gnometris compiles.
But when i try to start it i get this:

./gnometris: error while loading shared libraries: libclutter-gtk-0.10.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I tried ./configure --enable-clutter and compiled again, afterwards gnometris works but there is only an empty plane as gamearea and i get those messages:

(gnometris:27118): ClutterGLX-CRITICAL **: Unable to make the stage window 0x400003e the current GLX drawable

(gnometris:27118): ClutterGLX-CRITICAL **: Unable to make the stage window 0x4000059 the current GLX drawable

Gnometris compiled after i installed libcanberra.

Hi!

The version of Clutter available in Ubuntu at the moment is very old,  
not even remotely new enough to build a recent Gnometris.

I would point you toward my PPA (which has a recent build of Clutter)  
but it's a mess right now because I'm in the middle of updating it.  
(it's at https://launchpad.net/~gnome-games-experimental/+archive/ppa  
for later reference)

You could build Clutter from source, instead. You'll need the  
"clutter" and "clutter-gtk" modules from http://git.clutter-project.org/
