You won't want to subscribe to the membership-committee mailing list
right now because it is receiving a lot of membership
applications/renewals mails. And I'm not sure we ever decided if
everybody can subscribe to it or if only members of the membership
committee can...

But you can send mail to the membership-committee mailing list to have
such a discussion. We'll keep you cc'ed.
