Why was this announced one week before the actual event? I've looked
into a couple of obvious mailing lists archives and found no reference
to this being organized. I may of course have looked in the wrong
places, but then wouldn't it have been useful to get this mentioned in
more places? 

In any case, I hope those able to attend have fun.
