I'm generally on the side of "big active lists", but I don't think
there is anything wrong with a small list if it it has a distinct user
community.
orbit-perl-list was basically created because people generally mailed
me rather than orbit-list with questions about how to use ORBit::Perl,
and I wasn't responding to their questions. These people weren't
"people who used Perl with GNOME" or "people who used ORBit", they
were "people who wanted a CORBA binding for Perl". So, I don't
think consolidation with other lists on gnome.org would make sense.
