release-team archives are private because every now and then, we have to
deal with private Foundation/corporate/etc things. We also say embarrassing
things about GNOME luminaries, pre-release software quality and release
schedules that are best not found in Andrew Orlowski's [1] mailbox. :-)
gnome-private is still relevant, but doesn't get much traffic because we're
such an open and pressure-free community nowadays. Hooray! :-) [2]

[1] The release team's nickname for tech industry pundits and click-through
journalists everywhere. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead is
purely coincidental.
[2] I'm dead-set serious. Maybe someday we'll need it, but right now, we're
as harmonious as a gospel choir at a double christening in spring. _ROCK_!
