wanna join the election committee?

Hi everyone,

The election and nominations committee is now composed of Dan Mueth,
Martin Baulig and Russell Steinthal.  It turns out that Dan and Martin
are seriously considering running for election, as am I (not a member of
the committee, but coordinating the whole thing).  Therefore, we think
it'd be nice if we added a person (or substituted someone) who has no
intention of running for election.  Please let me know if you'd be
willing to join the committee.

The committee processes membership nominations, is overseeing the
elections, finalizes unsettled election details, and will announce the
results.
