F-spot not importing

I am using F-Spot 0.9.0~7 on Ubuntu 15.04

After some time of not starting at all, my F-spot is now starting. Unfortunately I can not import any photos. Import starts, takea a while and crashes. Seems to import 1 photo every time I restart. 

Tried it with a fresh database with no photos at all too, and it did not make any difference. 

Any ideas?
