I was trying to build F-Spot from the source code in Github. I
followed the guide given
in http://f-spot.org/How_To_Build_from_HEAD but when I ran the command
'sudo apt-get build-dep f-spot' I got an error
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
cli-common-dev : Depends: mono-devel (>= 2.10.1) but it is not going
to be installed or
strong-name-tool
libflickrnet2.1.5-cil : Depends: libmono-corlib1.0-cil (>= 1.0) but
it is not going to be installed
Is flickernet really "required"? Minus the flicker plugin [???].
libgnome2.0-cil : Depends: libmono-corlib1.0-cil (>= 1.0) but it is
not going to be installed
That seems very odd.
E: Build-dependencies for f-spot could not be satisfied
I tried to install install those required dependent packages but I
ended in a never ending loop. Any idea how to solve this problem ?
How exactly?
