I've heard a few people mention that they'd like to handle videos in
f-spot.  This is something I'd definitely like to look into and
imagine that gstreamer bindings would make this much much easier.  We
are also using some of banshee's code, so it might be possible to grab
some of the code they are using for playing videos.

However, I'm definitely not promising anything right now :)
