Hello,I have imported 18000 pictures with a little perl script in a few minutes. It work's on 0.6.1.5.
It take tags, date/time from pictures.import2fspot.pl --path=XXXX where XXXX is absolute path where you store your pictures. It's recursive so you can use top dir.
