I think you need packages that end with -dev .

I have installed dev packages based on what's indicated on the F-Spot page ( http://is.gd/cU6tg ) are the ones needed, but I may of course have missed some. Or are you suggesting I install all dev packages available in my distro?

I wish there were a PPA available for F-Spot, but I will try to figure this out anyway. Thanks!

Hi,

I am not a developer, but I am trying to build the new F-Spot 0.7.0 from
source on my Linux Mint 9 x64 computer. I have successfully built other
software from source on this computer. I tried to run the command:

'apt-get build-dep f-spot'

but keep getting 'Unable to find a source package for f-spot'. I have also tried to install all the packages needed based on the documentation on the
F-spot site, but I still get 'No package 'mono-cairo' found' when I run
.configure. I do have libmono-cairo 1 and 2 installed. What am I missing
and/or doing wrong?
