Need Help with F-Spot

Will be doing a presentation on Ubuntu and the applications included with it. I will include an explanation/show and tell about F-Spot. My problem is when I click on Edit, Full Screen or Slideshow I get no picture, even tho I have selected one, or in the case of Slideshow, a series of Pictures. Here is a screen shot/attachment of what I get when using the Edit feature. What am I not doing right?
