Hi.
As there was no response at all on Bugzilla, I'd like to bring this problem
to the attention of you mailing list folks :)
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=571141
Bug 571141 – Flickr exports duplicate all seperate tags in an
additional tag containing all
I exported some pictures from f-spot (SVN and 0.5.0.3) to Flickr. For
example this one:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/alexs77/3271947006/
Flickr shows the following tags:
In f-spot, this picture has the following tags:
* Petra
* Fotograf
* Neu
* Web
* Cédric
* 2008
* Imports
BUT in Flickr, there's also:
* Imports Petra Fotograf Neu Web Cédric 2008 Imports
BUT in Flickr, there is *NOT* a seperate "Imports" tag - instead, it
is "combined"
into *ONE* (1) tag named "Imports Petra Fotograf Neu Web Cédric 2008 Imports".
As you can see on the bug report, I did some debugging by adding WriteLine
statements at various spots, and found that f-spot sends (?) this to Flickr:
--FLICKR_MIME_20090211013954
Content-Disposition: form-data; name="tags"
"Petra","Fotograf","Neu","Web","Cédric","2008","Imports"
(That's send among other things in the "post contents".)
Questions:
- Do other users also have problems with messed up tags in Flickr after
exporting from f-spot?
- Why is something else shown on the Flickr site compared to what seems
to be send by f-spot?
Thanks a lot,
Alexander
