Re: Fwd: serious problem with upgrade to ubuntu 9.10q

Hello Eric, glad to see it worked!  Now for this error message, I don't really know, but maybe some of the f-spot developers will find out!  Does it makes your F-Spot crash?

Hello Jean,

I ran your python script and it's OK : one file containing ':' was detected. ':' was replaced with '_' in the database. I had to modify the file name in my photo directory.
When I run f-spot, it doesn't crash when I try to see this file.
It seems to be OK also with '&' in some off my files...

I just have the following messages when I run f-spot in a console :

eric mermoz:~$ f-spot

Is it a serious problem ?

Anyway, thank you very much for helping me to recover my f-spot !
I wish you a very nice new year !

Many thanks,

Eric
