Hi,

Just letting people know:  there's been some progress.  Most notably,
the first issue (certificate trust errors) is more or less resolved
using the "Application centric trust" approach as discussed in
http://www.mono-project.com/UsingTrustedRootsRespectfully.

Additionally, exporter binaries are now also attached to
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=382658
