yes and no... the minimal versions required didn't changed, but if
you're living on the edge (a gnome 2.22 desktop), you really need
up-to-date stuffs (gtk-sharp > 2.12.1)

for opensuse 11, up-to-date gtk-sharp is available (or in OBS or in
factory, can't remember)

for debian, the required dependency is in testing and unstable

for ubuntu, get it from ruben's repo

for other distro... no idea
