Yesterday evening Apart showed up on irc to report some news.
He said the project is evolving, not as fast as he would but it is. 
He said he's training the engine but it's not performing as he would
like. He found some bugs and already identified where to operate.

So no particular news for the users, but the project is still alive and
running!
