Sharing the database

I would like my wife and I to share a single photo database for
F-spot, so we can both add, edit and update photos.

If I set up a hard-link from my copy of ~/.gnome2/f-spot/photos.db to
the same in her home directory, would this work? Or would this cause
some horrendous unforseen problems?

(I'm planning to set up the permissions for the photos folder so that
both of us have full read-write access to all the pictures there).
