F-Spot crashes when sending email

The archives didn't help so ...
F-Spot crashes when I try to initiate an email with an attached image
(Evolution). Has this happened to others?
I am using Ubuntu 7.10 on an Acer Aspire 3680 laptop. I gave up on
F-Stop in the early days of Feisty because it was unstable on my desktop
machine.
