Hi Guys,
I created a new small bug #356387 [1] with patch [2] for the following
problem.
F-Spot do not look for the following tags in IPTC for the moment.
Contact = Record.Application | 118, - People
ContentLocationName = Record.Application | 27 - Location
Headline = Record.Application | 105,
I created a small patch (that also includes the fix for bug #356330 [3]) to import these
extra tags/fields.
One problem though, is that if these tags ALSO exists as XMP data, they will be
duplicated.
The patch will map these IPTC fields to
photoshop:Headline
mediapro:People
Iptc4xmpCore:Location
There is no check for if these tags already exists as XMP tags.
It imports the tags in Dotans test photos nicely, apart from the headline since F-Spot do not import any headline for the moment.
My iViewMedia Pro test photos gets duplicated XMP tags (People, Location, etc) due to they already existed.
Comments? Testers?
