I will set the default to Last 7 days. Or 30?

last 360 days, is everything between (todays - 360 days) - today.

I am much better with Mon - Sun, than trying to remember which date it
is now, and then figuring out which date it was a few days ago.
But, if the common feeling is to change it, I will try.
