Hello. I have been using F-spot for almost one year, after I feel confident
with it, I start to try to import all my old photo collection.
My old photo collection is on another old computer, I copied all the photos
to the new computer under /tmp folder, hoping after imported these folders,
I can remove it from /tmp/ folder. I am seriously wrong. After imported, I
was surprised the file was not moved to ~/Photo like I have done 100 times
with my Flash Disk with digital camera.
Now I am in a bit difficult situation, I must keep the photos in my /tmp
foler, otherwise I lost them, F-spot only gives the photo thumbnail but
display a big question mark when viewing photo. This is bad because /tmp is
not a safe place to store photos. The more interesting is I don't know where
F-Spot stored its configuration, thus there is nothing I know of I can do,
certainly not in .f-spotrc like typic Linux apps.
Googled without luck. Any hint?
