Adjust Time GUI

Hej

To my delight I found the Adjust Time gui in F-Spot for the first time.
CVS version. 
Although the Cancel and Ok buttons do not really seem to work, but it is
a very nice start.

But, I am a bit confused over the layout to be honest.

1) How do you ensure to only set the DATE and not the Time?
2) How do the Offset work?

Also, perhaps remove the Gnome Time drop down box? Just making it
confusing, with both a manual input field, and a separate drop down
field.

How would I use this GUI to modify the pictures we have that were taken
in another timezone (-2 and -10 hours from where I am now). Just use the
offset or?
