Whenever I try to crop or edit a photo in any way I get a dialog error message that says:
Received exception "Argument cannot be null. Parameter name: src". Unable to save photo
DSC0051.JPG
Following the command-line output I see this the moment I dismiss the dialog aformentioned dialog box:
Found Standard Tiff Marker 42
new Tiff.Header timer stopped: 00:00:00.0003100
Cannot convert type "ComponentsConfiguration" to string
exif:ComponentsConfiguration has no values; skipping
Tiff.Header.Select timer stopped: 00:00:00.0078510
building info timer stopped: 00:00:00.0111830
When I run the 'exif' command-line tool on this photo it returns 'Y Cb
Cr -' as the value for the ConfigurationComponents field of the photo.
I posted this question a couple of months ago and someone suggested it
might be a problem with libexif. However, oher photo apps like gthumb
and digikam (also running with exif I believe) don't have any problems
like this. It also looks like someone has posted a bug on this
(
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=315029) but it is still in
the 'unconfirmed' state.
I don't know if running 64-bit Linux is a problem or not. I love this
app, especially the tagging and flickr support! Any insight or help
someone has would be awesome.
Thanks!
