f-spot goals: status

LONGER VERSION:

Since the previous status email (fri), some things moved in the good
direction for f-spot goals, and esp this one...

General news:
- the ideas of focusing a lot of developers reviewing the same thing at
the same time was accepted at the F-Spot meeting, held in IRC on
06/07/31 20:30 UTC.
- the next goal was chosen, but let's close this one before talking
about it

Goal 06-01: push for 342137
- Larry accepted to commit this into head. refactoring will happens
later...
- Bengt and Warren shared their views, and agreed on a way to handle
sidecars
- Bengt modified the patch according to that
- I did one more review of the whole thing, and tested it

TODO:
- at least one more in-depth review

remember that the due date for this is Friday.

at that time, this goal will be considered as a success, and marked for
inclusion in CVS as soon as Larry came back from holidays.
