exif data problems

hi guys,
Quick note, I love the flickr export.  Just great.

Also, I have several pics that have no exif information.  I have found
something called jhead

which is able to edit exif data to some degree but isn't able to do
anything if there is none there to begin with.  Does anyone know of an
easy way to do mass exif header creation?  Thx
