General status report

Larry,

I'm very excited about f-stop.  

I'd like to get a feel from you about the status of the project, where
you see it in the near future, etc.  A State of the Project Address if
you will.

I've entered 3 bug reports tonight.  Are you accepting/reviewing
submitted patches?  If patches have a real shot at reaching CVS I'll
work on making them.
