Hey!
With everyone wanting a way to use F-Spot's database *outside* F-Spot
(other program, or other platform), I think it's time to make a
decision.
To me it seems that saving the info (comment, title, and maybe tags)
in the image file is a must, and, that the EXIF part could be used for
that. AFAIK, the EXIF specs does have a place for user-comment, but
I'm not sure about the rest.
I usually feel that naming and commenting my pictures is pointless if
there's no way to use it outside F-Spot, especially (but not only)
because there's no Win32 port it (yet).
What do you think?
