You should just be able to flag dialogs with the destroy_with_parent
flag.

The problem is - finding the parent.

The easist solution would be to convert everything to e-error, where appropriate, it can be used for information/warning and you can extend the window with extra widgets if you need to.  When it doesn't have a parent window it uses a default fallback which is usually good enough.  Although it doesn't make sense if you don't want the little icon next to your message.  This particular menu item seems redundant/odd anyway, it seems like it should just be accessed via the normal folder properties window.

e-notice and friends should have been completely removed in this cycle, but i guess it wasn't communicated very well.
