I used the url from the mail.  But my isp caches things agressively, so maybe it's that - sorry.

Be much better if you put a version number in the url in future, to make sure.  Your web server doesn't know about .tgz files either, its coming down as inline content rather than application/octet-stream or whatever, maybe try .tar.gz, .tgz is only a dos abomination anyway.

I did that, didn't I? I noticed I'm still not using proper 
g_ascii_*-functions, but I did do what you mentioned there. In case you 
were still looking that the old version at the old URL, here's the link
