I really don't think it matters for an about box. same with other "accessability" stuff. It's just a list of the people who contributed. It's not something that people look at on a day-to-day basis.

Personally I think that about boxes are a great place for the developers to go a bit "wild" and be creative. It's the one place where users won't complain about stuff because most of them won't ever even bother looking at it and the ones who do are the oens who'd appreciate it being a reflection of the developer's creativity.

That said... I want to make it render some cool 3D animations, unfortunately unlike Qt, opengl support is not a part of Gtk+ so I'll probably have to do it using more primitive drawing tehniques as there'd probably be complaints about depending on opengl :-(
