Hmm, if we're going to go to this much effort, i'd rather the unmatched folder was moved onto the vfolder store itself, and also be optional on that store.  This seems to expose too many internals that the client code shouldn't need to know about in the first place.

Would you like to look into that possibility?  Or do you just want something that works for you?

I'm thinking either this or your previous patch can go into 2.0 as a workaround, and then it can be fixed 'more properly' in 2.1?

For this patch we'd need copyright assignment also (the first one was small enough not to need it).
