Dan is right here, might need to create an "invalid message on server"
dummy message for a given message index.
But then you need to give it a reasonable uid (or maybe just a
completely invalid one? like "badmsgXX"), and maybe a fake message
content to say its a server problem, etc.
I wonder what prompts it to happen ... e.g. bad permissions on a file,
or a softlink to a nonexistant file ?
