Ok, so a few comments.  First is, why choose pdf?  Did you look into
using docbook somehow?  This makes it easy to have a pdf or html or text
version of the card.  Next, although I'm not positive, the card should
probably be in help/ rather than doc/ (Aaron?).  Finally I'm not sure
about relying on a PDF viewer - what are the options and how do they
affect printing?
