Hello. I am a heavy user of the fantastic "run a program as a
reminder"
functionality in evolution. Its perfect for running little scripts at
specific times or for launching a teleconferencing app to prep for a
meeting.
The problem is that when you reschedule the event in any calendar on
android (specifically, etar and simple calendar tools, as well as a
bunch of closed sourced calendars from the app store), the "run a
program" reminder gets turned into a standard reminder.
This is incredibly frustrating, since around 50% of the time I am
rescheduling events I am doing so via my android device, and then I
have
to remember to edit the event in evolution the next time I sit down
(which usually does not happen)
Is there a way for evolution to retain the run a program
functionality
even when events are reschedualed in another app?
When asking for help with Evolution, please remember to state which
version of Evo you have, even if you don't think it's relevant.
