Not really, as it's distribution specific and off-topic here. In
general: By upgrading to a newer version of GNOME / Evolution you could
receive bug fixes and new functionality. You may need to upgrade your
Linux distribution to obtain a newer version of GNOME. For further
information, please ask in a support forum of your Linux distribution.
