Hi,
it's not deleted, it's marked as completed. Whether you see such
depends on Edit->Preferences->Calendar and Tasks->Tasks tab->[x] Hide
completed tasks after.... option. You can also expand the Show combo
box (just above the list of tasks) and pick "Completed tasks" to show
the completed tasks only temporarily. Do not forget to change it back
to "Any Category", thus you see all the incomplete tasks again.
