Can I stop evolution to make a copy of sent messages in the "Sent"
folder, but keep the Sent folder viewed as a special folder for sent
messages?
Hi,
it depends on your evolution version. When you open the account
Properties->Defaults tab, the Sent Messages folder has or has not a
checkbox to enable/disable the sent folder for this account.
You might not make the server-side Sent folder special when disabled (I
didn't test it), like with the fancy icon, but you can change the view
for that folder with View->Current view->As Sent Folder, unless you've
Edit->Preferences->Mail Preferences->Apply the same view settings to
all folders, which would mean to use that view everywhere. Then you'd
better have set Messages view on regular folders (it's the default view
for them) and when you rewrite it then it'll be applied to all folders
you've set this view for.
Hope it helps,
Milan
