If this works for you, you also should be able to use the GUI app I
already mentioned, to make any browser the default.

I don't remember if you mentioned what distro you are using, for Ubuntu
it's provided by the package libfm-tools and for Arch Linux it's
provided by the package libfm-gtk2.
