Mainly  because I live in the land of Outlook users and Evolution seems to be the  most compatible to Outlook in terms of functionality.

I know Outlook mangles a lot of things, but it would be helpful. It's a small thing I understand.

Paul, could you explain why this is important to you? Because I'm
reluctant to introduce code and yet another setting for such things
(maintenance costs for years) if there is not a convincing reason.
