I'm new to evolution through debian.
Just got a quick question, is there a way I can close evolution to the
Gnome tray? (which appears at the bottom left)
Regarding the tray:
That legacy notification tray for applications (which for unknown
reasons use a status icon concept) has been removed in GNOME 3.26 as it
always got in the way. Proper notifications end up in the top bar.
Users can install one of the gnome-shell extensions, either based on
the XEmbed support or implementing the DBus-based StatusNotifier spec.
Regarding Evolution:
https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Evolution/FAQ?action=show&redirect=Evolution%2FFAQ#Can_I_minimize_the_Evolution_window_to_the_system_tray.3F
Outdated and I hope not, I'd say.
