Re: [Evolution] Failed to open folder.

Thank you. How to upgrade from Evolution 3.10.4 to latest version? It appears that the LinuxMint maintainers have stopped updating at that version.

	Hi,
I partly recall an issue about failure during quota get, preventing
open of a folder properties [1], but not when getting messages in a
certain folder. As far as I can tell, the quota is read only when
needed, which is the time when the folder properties are opened.

The other quota-related bug report is [2]. Maybe it's the one you are
facing. I would try to ask the package maintainers of your distribution
for the inclusion of either (or both) patches, or build the evolution-
data-server yourself (though it's not a trivial task). Eventually try a
distribution which offers a newer evolution, whether things got fixed
there (can be in a virtual machine with a live image).

Please note that the current stable version is 3.20.2 (released just
today), which means that yours 3.10.4, released on February 10th, 2014,
is more that two years old. Two years of development means quite many
fixes/changes being done in the code, at least in the case of the
evolution and the evolution-data-server.

	Bye,
	Milan
