Hi all,
I am using evolution-ews 3.10.2 (packaged via Ubuntu Trusty LTS) and
using it with NTLM auth in the past without any problems.
Suddenly last week it stopped working - packages are still the same and
i did already reinstalled them but that did not change anything.
- I tried PLAIN / basic auth with my credentials which works currently
as a workaround.
- I also tried using curl with NTLM and this does work too - so the
server seems to work fine.
The command i've used was:
curl -v -k --user '...' -X POST -d @folder.xml --ntlm
https://.../Exchange.asmx --header 'Content-Type: text/xml;
charset=utf-8'
- I've also did a clean install of Mint 17.3 (same packages) in a VM and
configured my ews account with NTLM there and it works in the VM - but
it does not work anymore on my current profile on the host pc.
- I've also tried to use a new evolution profile and even setup a new
user on my pc and created a new + fresh ews profile there - no luck, it
does not work anymore with NTLM and ews on my host pc.
Anything i can do to get the cause of that problem? Already looked into
EWS_DEBUG=2 output seeing some NTLM challenges and responses but the
server does not accept it.
What may be the cause of such a failure?
Any suggestions how to debug this and how to get more details, e.g. on
the NTLM messages and there processing? Or anything else i should look
for?
thanks and kind regards
Torsten
