You need to set LDFLAGS too

Unfortunately it still fails to build when passing
`LDFLAGS='-fsanitize=address'`.

add linking to asan to your compile command

-lasan

that seems to work for my environment

thank you so much! Building Evolution-Data-Server worked for me too!

        $ CFLAGS="-O1 -g -fsanitize=address -fno-omit-frame-pointer" LDFLAGS="-fsanitize=address -lasan"
./configure --disable-uoa
        $ CFLAGS="-O1 -g -fsanitize=address -fno-omit-frame-pointer" LDFLAGS="-fsanitize=address -lasan" make
# environment variables not necessary

Let’s see what bugs will get caught now!

Thanks,

Paul
