Hi,

I notice that sometimes Evo stops receiving updates from the server.
My configuration is

[ ] Check for new messages every __ minutes
[x] Check for new messages in all folders
[x] Listen for server change notifications

I know this is not very helpful, so any idea how I might debug this? I
would guess that the thread/job that listens stops for some reason,
but I would like to back this up with evidence which maybe points to
the root cause.

Evo 3.12.7, KDE 4.14 on openSUSE 13.2 x86_64

Hi Robert, in my case, it was stopping when it was connecting to a server
which did not have the minimum requirements (ie exch 2010), it appears that
our server farm has different versions of Exch Servers. So I edited the
/etc/hosts to point to a server which is for sure Exchange 2010.

Another issue I faced is that it does not actually stop, but the EWS message
download is extremely slow, ie takes 15+ minutes to download a 10meg email)
and during this timeframe, the EWS new message notifications stop as well.

See if your problem could be related to those. I've opened bug reports these
issues if you'd like to follow.

Thanks for the reply, but those don't match the problems I see.

Robert
